Best Country Band in Orange County CA is how we feel about it. This band just sounds good. There are a lot of bands in Orange County. Many country bands playing local bars and gigs all over Southern California and some are pretty darn good. But we feel the Smith Country Band just has a bit more going on with it than the average country cover band. And our clients see it and hear too, which is why they hire us and do not want anyone else. It is a good feeling to know you are giving folks exactly what they need for their event to kick it up a notch. And that is exactly what goes on.
Listen to the voices in the video. Listen to the instrumentation too. And this was recorded live in that barn. It was not recorded in a studio and lipsynced, which is what most bands do. They record the audio first and then “act” to it for video. That is not what SMITH did for our demos. It is all live and demonstrates just how we sound when someone hires us.
Check out our version and then check out the original. It is kind of fun to see the differences. We had a lot of fun playing this song. It has become one of our regularly performed songs this summer at all the city concerts we been working throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County.
Maddie & Tae – Girl In A Country Song
Many people know Orange County as a popular Southern California destination. There are many things to do here such as visit Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm or one of the many spectacular beaches. The county is actually the sixth most populated in the United States. In fact it is more populated than twenty-one states. This is most probably due to the dense population this county supports.
SMITH has been playing live country music Summer Concerts for many of the OC Cities. Among them : Buena Park, Dana Point, Rancho Santa Margarita, Brea, Orange, Lake Forest, San Juan Capistrano, and Tustin.
This is our cover of the old Bruce Hornsby and the Range song. You will notice we do it quite differently. Actually, we perform the song more in a bluegrass style like the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band covered it.
This song is a challenge to play live. It is fast and the changes between sections are more different than alike. We do not think we have ever seen anyone else attempt to even play the song in the same manner. When you watch both videos, you will be surprised they are the same song.
Last time we performed this was in Anaheim, California at an outdoor concert. People loved it. It will become a staple of our set for all the city concerts we perform at this summer. You will see us in Irvine, Rancho Santa Margarita, Dana Point, Seal Beach, Mission Viejo, Huntington Beach and many other places throughout the summer.
